This was a really nice place for a great price. As is the case for all Japanese hotels, except for the super-expensive ones, this is quite normal. I was alone, so the size of the room wasn't such a big deal. It was very clean, the staff were very helpful, courteous, and professional. Also, it is in a great location near the Kanayama train station. I would definitely stay there again.
