Elite Athlete Centre and Hotel

As with the Z Hotel Piccadilly, this hotel was great in all but one way: air conditioning and ice! It’s hot in the summer, friends — and it’s only going to get hotter! That means you should significantly upgrade your air-conditioning system as soon as you can; the current one is simply not up to the job. And when you serve drinks in the hotel, you should be assuming that everyone will want a glass full of ice — not looking surprised and dubious when a guest timidly asks whether ice is available, then slowly extracting two measly cubes from a long-out-of-use bowl in a small mini-fridge below the counter! Aside from these two significant failings, the Elite was excellent :o)

Clean room and good location although the security staff in the entrance were very abrupt and borderline rude.

On Loughborough campus.

Great location. Basic hotel but it had everything we needed for a 1 night stay. Would consider staying here again in the future.
