El Samay hotel is in a lovely location and is small, very quiet, in lovely well-kept grounds, and right on the beach which is kept very clean.
Communication during booking was excellent and the hotel arranged taxis for us, but is a little isolated if you don’t have your own transport.
For a small hotel there were numerous options for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Staff is very accommodating. We cannot speak Spanish and this location and the entire region of this area of Peru is very Spanish. The people are very friendly and try so much to help. The property is very clean and extremely well maintained. The rooms are very large and the the beach is perfect. Long walks are possible. Food is good and free breakfast is quite tasty. Marianne and the rest of the staff helped us as best they could but I put most of the blame on us for our language ignorance.

This was a very good value. The beach was great and my kids had fun in the pool, and with the ping pong and foozball tables.
the chef did a great job with all of the meals.
The grounds were very tastefully landscaped. Highly recommend.
