Staff is VERY helpful and accommodating. Room was clean and essentially brand new! Karri took the extra steps to ensure the room was cooled down before checking in - so very helpful on a 95° day. Breakfast was standard fare, however it was fresh and plentiful. Definitely would stay again!

As I was checking out, I was even given a suggestion as to which lake to go to catch some nice fish. My friend and I followed the fishing tip, and we had great luck!!!

This is a nice, family-owned hotel that has just come under new ownership. It is clear they are working to improve the hotel and make it more attractive to visitors. They have made improvements to the lobby, were painting the exterior when we visited, the parking lot was better than the last time I visited, and the rooms were nice and clean. We arrived just before midnight, and they had all our card keys ready for us when we got there. Breakfast was nice, and they cook their own sausage and eggs.

They have campers, trailers, semis parking on the west gravel lot! Not what I expected for small town hotel! Tastefully renovated and updated…inside & out. I usually stay in Wadena, Little Falls or Sauk but opted for this place after Wadena hotel was booked. Will stay here for future stays. I’m a Hampton/Hilton/Marriott business traveler if that helps understand my expectations.
