Right in the town, but still surrounded by nature.
Very clean and easy.

We found tiny bugs under a pillow and on a sheet, which made us wonder when the bedding had last been changed. We were concerned they might be bed bugs, but fortunately they weren't.
Someone had also left a cigarette and ashes on the patio table. Other than that, the property was clean and well maintained.
The lady at the front desk was friendly and informative. We also appreciated being able to use the BBQ grill at Idyllwild Inn, even though we were staying off-site at Strawberry Creek.

These cabins are very close to the downtown area. They are old cabins — which means charm and character — along with some expected quirks from the age (door that didn’t shut all the way/trouble finding plugs where you want them.) The bed was surprisingly comfortable and there were some extra beds in the kitchen that gave my son the feeling of having his own room. We would definitely return.

We love staying at Idyllwild Inn with our small dog which is allowed in the cabins.
We go at least once a year to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
We love Gastronome's restaurant for a fine dining experience and we can walk to it from the Idyllwild Inn. Also shopping and The Red Kettle restaurant are within walking distance.
