Staff was very kind, friendly and helpful and the morning breakfast spread was wonderful as was the view from the rooftop deck.
The elevator was not working, but the kind young man (Brandon or Brian? from Colombia) at the desk was kind enough to help with our heavy bags. The room was not as we requested, but we were able to use the room they had without an issue. The property is a bit "tired" in appearance, and we did hear other guests from our room. Regular Ubers could not access property as it was in an historical area with special card key entrance, so be aware. The area itself was convenient, safe, and I'd recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at the Monte Belvedere. Decent room, but the highlight had to be the rooftop breakfast room and terrace. Photos don't quite do it justice as they just don't capture the scale of the views! There was a good range of options available at the buffet breakfast, which was great to set you up for a day exploring. The hotel is well located, with tram stops being not too far away if you don't fancy longer walks. Staff were consistently helpful and friendly. I highly recommend going back to the rooftop terrace in the evening for a drink and to see the colours of the sunset.
