Nice and warm room good breakfast friendly staff and atmosphere Thank you

A good base for a short time in Zakopane. Reception staff commanded a competent level of spoken English and were helpful with directions and keeping my bags in a safe room. Location a few mins walk to Krupowki street. Single room of adequate size, with a flat tv and comfy bed. Old and worn furniture in the room. Kettle included but no tea/coffee amenities. No fridge. Small wardrobe. Small but clean bathroom. Some issues with water coming out. I think after flushing the toilet I had to wait for it to fill up for water to come out of the sink. Complimentary breakfast buffet with a reasonable spread of items. Excellent machine coffee. Lunch is available but no dinner. Overall, a good 2* budget option.

The best thing about this stay was the location and restuarant recommendation given to me by member of staff. There is no heating in the room, either doesn't work or they purposely shut it off to save on gas costs, they gave me a portable heater which eventually didn't work either. The shower drainage seemed blocked and I was standing in my own dirty water and at night sounded like a rat was moving around in the shower base or toilet plumbing. Bed looked and felt like something you would get in a prison cell.
