Good location, clean property and very polite stuff only entry to hotel on back alley wasn't interested

Location is perfect in the Historic district- but it enters from an alley, which some taxi drivers can't find. But that alley makes the stay even better--off of the actual busy, noisy main street. Great 24/7 staff who kept giving us water when we kept running out (since being from the US we aren't used to having a supply of bottled water to drink). Room was smaller than expected. Good breakfast for long hours. Our 4 nights were very happy there.

This location is great for a first time visitor to Mexico City. It’s walking distance from the Alameda Central park, plenty of restaurant options, shopping plazas, the metro, and great museums, so getting around was easy and there was always something nearby to do. The hotel itself was pretty quiet, but be aware of very thin walls - I was woken up multiple times during my stay because of loud noise outside from a restaurant loading area in the alleyway just outside my window. Without AC, the room did get fairly warm but the ceiling fan and ability to open windows was helpful for cooling off a bit. Housekeeping came every day and the room was visibly pretty clean, but I noticed a large stain on the mattress when the sheet was pulled up. On top of the bed being hard and uncomfortable, the noise pollution and lack of AC made for some poor nights of sleep. My room was surprisingly small so I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for more than two people, as it was just enough space for myself alone. I didn’t get a chance to try breakfast but I’m sure it’s a good perk regardless, plus the 24/7 access to coffee and hot chocolate. Overall my stay was decent but I probably would try another hotel in the same area on a return trip.
