The Gora Beach Inn in Kuta is truly a hidden gem in the heart of the city. I have been making return visits to this family run inn for nearly 20 years and will continue to return, the welcome always warm and my stays always a pleasure. Granted the busy street entrance is deceiving when it comes to the property inside for past the lobby and the older rooms the space opens up and what is revealed is an oasis of peace- a beautiful beautiful pool surrounded by lush gardens and clean, comfortable rooms- a true escape from the crowded, crazy streets of Kuta lying only meters away. The prices for stays are beyond reasonable and are friendly to budget conscious travelers and being a family run business every stay is like a visit to old friends, visits I have cherished in the past and look forward to in the future. It was great with no kids but there was no shade over the pool.
