Fantastic location. Very lovely welcoming staff on reception and in breakfast room. The breakfast is really good. Also the rooftop area is lovely.
The internal balconies are disappointing - very little light arrives and mine was awfully close to the facing balconies, affecting privacy and noise levels.
The maintenance of the gym equipment is terrible. One machine had the seat adjustment pin rusted in place and it couldn't be moved. The leg extension machine was not aligned and couldn't be used at all. There were only four machines and this was the state of two of them. Feel a bit robbed, as paying extra for a gym is one of my holiday treats. However, the stay here was, overall, pleasant and relaxing.
