Super easy check in and out. Great breakfast!

Biggest fault was breakfast. Along with the standard waffles they had a pretend omelette with some orange goo inside that was probably supposed be cheese, but didn't even look like it let alone taste like it. And Biscuits and gravy, which I know has some fans, but I'm not among them. Notice no mention of meat, because there wasn't any meat. Not the worst I've had, but not very good.
Room was nice and roomy, it has the 2 feet in width that so many seem to be lacking today. Heat-A/C was not good. A wall mounted stat where you could turn it on or off, set the temp and high or low fan speed, but not select what function you wanted, nor could you select fan only. It probably works fine on paper, maybe, maybe even on a temp recorder, but far less so in person. Not awful, but definitely not good.
On the other hand, I've stayed in Ely a number of times over the years and only one other one was even mediocre, so by that scale it was great.

This place worked great for what we needed. We were comfortable, the beds were nice, there were plenty of parking spaces, and breakfast was good. The staff when we interacted were friendly.
