Kimpton Shorebreak Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort by IHG

Staff were not attentive. Difficult to reach staff when needed for valet or extra towels. Had to go to the front desk for service.

Everyone we encountered was amazingly friendly and helpful. The valet staff, front desk, James the waiter at the onsite restaurant, the rooftop bartenders all great. We had a Premier King Room for 3 nights and it was nice. If I was staying longer than two or three nights, the lack of space would be an issue. The only drawers were one in each nightstand. There was a hanging rod with two shelves and a safe that was only blocked by a curtain. No counter space in the bathroom. There was a cute retro fridge. The only real negative was the bathroom floor. It was very dirty and looked like it had been that way for a while. We would return for a short stay.

We arrived around 11, check in was at 4pm but they were able to accommodate use to our room around 230pm. The receptionist was very nice and friendly. The valet are wonderful. The roof top bar and pool are beautiful. There is also a pool on 1sr floor right behind restaurant. The room was spacious for us 3 and we located on 1st floor. Its located literally 2 blocks from beach. Plenty of restaurants in area. We did bike ride which was available through hotel. There is a $47 daily valet parking fee and a $40 daily resort fee at this hotel. The only bad vibe we really got was from the lady working at the bar on the roof top she made us feel unwanted, so we only used pool 1x up there. All we did was use the pool, we werent loud or anything but she constantly kept staring at us and it was really uncomfortable. Made us not want to return up there.
