I loved being here and plan to go back soon. It's idyllic. Beautifully kept and presented; with very kind and professional staff. I didnt know what time the event I was attending nearby would end; and as soon as I came back they brought me a wonderful platter of fish and much more. Saying theyd rather I had it prepared freshly than keep it waiting.
Beside a river, in glorious, quiet countryside with the dramatic fells above; I can't wait to stay longer and explore the area. Can't recommend highly enough.

We were very impressed with the Hotel. Our room was spotless and dinner and breakfast both excellent. Our daughter was in a separate room and equally impressed. Certainly a first class hostelry
