Sea Shell Palms

The hotel was in a central spot every thing was was close whatever you need the staff was great I would recommend the hotel to friends and family.. I will be back in October

The breakfast was phenomenal. The staff was so wonderful, helpful and kind. The accommodations were very clean. Huge hot tub, beautiful pool. Overall beautiful experience of jamaica

My husband and I stayed for five days, and overall, we enjoyed our stay. I really liked that breakfast was provided every morning. One issue we had was that after the first morning, we didn’t have enough supplies in the room to make tea or coffee. However, once I brought it to their attention, they quickly corrected the issue and gave us extra supplies, which I really appreciated. The pool area was clean, and the hot tub was great 👍. Our room was clean, although I do think it could have been a little tidier—but I may be a little more critical because I used to be a professional housekeeper 😂. My biggest concern was the check-in process. Check-in time is 3 PM, and we arrived around 8:30 PM, but our room was not ready. The office was already closed, so a staff member had to check us in outside on the property in an area that was not secluded or private. I was very concerned for the staff member’s safety, and honestly, it still bothers me to this day. I really hope management considers a safer after-hours check-in process for their employees. With that being said, the staff did address our concerns when we brought them up, and yes, my husband and I would stay here again. 👍

The hotel staff are friendly and do a good job making you feel welcomed. Since this is not a big hotel, the office is closed on the weekends and evenings. I reported some issues that were immediately addressed, minus them cleaning the dead bugs behind the bed (I wouldn’t have found them if there were available outlets.) The female housekeeping staff told me that the bugs would just come back. Idk why she couldn’t clean them up though. Just goes to show that the rooms aren’t thoroughly cleaned. I should mention that I didn’t see any alive bugs in my room. Also, it seems you have to request they clean your room daily otherwise it doesn’t get done. If you’re interested in eating a Jamaican breakfast you will have multiple options. There are a few American options as well. I longed for my bed because the twin sized bed was not the least bit comfortable as I tossed and turned throughout the night. My son turned on the television and was bombarded with at least 100 unrestricted porn channels. Security guard, Mr. Green was pleasant and seemed to enjoy having guests. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience. I’d recommend using the airport closer to the hotel as Montego Bay airport is two hours away. If you’re ok with a budget friendly hotel and aren’t picky, this is as good as it gets. If you’re looking for comfort, you will be disappointed. I don’t grade the hotel on this but feel this is information that needs to be known. Be careful utilizing DubPlates Restaurant.
