Great property with historic charm in an excellent location. The pool area exceeded expectations and all the staff that I interacted with went out of their ways to make me feel welcome. I enjoyed the view from my room and the amount of natural light provided. Travelers should be aware that the hotel is a historic property—so if you’re seeking the most modern finishes, especially in common areas, then you’ll come away with a sense of disappointment. For everyone else who appreciates the charm of a boutique property and inspiration for a sense of wonder at how things used to be, then this property is great!

Beautiful historic hotel in Santa Monica on the beach front. Walking distance from the pier and great restaurants.
On the same road as the Red Bus tour with easy access Beverly Hills.
Great hotel with good amenities and very helpful staff.

Excellent staff, premier location and nice accommodations. Did not like the $150/night incidental charges, or the $55/night parking fee (deducted from incidentals). But the location was unbeatable.
