White Sugardunes Beach Resort, Al Khaluf Area, Near Duqum, Oman

We stayed at White Sugardunes Beach Resort as a couple from October 4th to 5th, and we honestly had a wonderful experience. Everything about our stay was excellent, and we are very happy that we chose this place. The entire team was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. A special thank you to Milan and Manna, who really went above and beyond for us. They were not only professional, but also genuinely funny, warm, and made the whole atmosphere feel very personal and family-like. At one point, our car got stuck in the sand, and they immediately came to help us get it out. They even helped us with the tire pressure and deflating the tires properly. This level of support goes far beyond what you would normally expect from a hotel team. The rest of the staff was just as kind and helpful. What really impressed us is that everyone seems to be an all-rounder — no matter what you need, there is always someone who can help. The food was another highlight. The chef did an amazing job, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The quality was excellent, the portions were more than enough, and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The rooms were very clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the whole resort is well maintained and peaceful. The location is also fantastic, directly opposite the Sugar Dunes, which makes it a perfect base for exploring the area. Considering how remote the location is, the resort offers everything you need: breakfast, dinner, electricity, toilets, showers, and even fast internet — something we definitely could not take for granted at many of the other remote places we visited. Overall, this was one of the best resort stays of our trip. The combination of the beautiful location, great food, clean rooms, peaceful atmosphere, and especially the amazing team made our stay unforgettable. We would absolutely come back and can highly recommend White Sugardunes Beach Resort to anyone visiting the area.

Amazing location amongst the sand dunes and very friendly staff.

The pool had no water in it supposedly because the busy tourist season hadn’t started and some parts of the resort aren’t completed but it has a lot of potential.

L'endroit de l'hôtel est bien entendu très particulier mais attention pour y arriver c'est une autre histoire. Pas de route, des pistes dans le sable, des indications de directions quasi inexistantes (dont une a l'envers). L'hôtel est moyenement agréable mais il y a des pièges

L'hôtel est mal entretenu et a ce rythme il va disparaitre rapidement. C'est dommage l'emplacement est sympa même si difficile à trouver ... Il faut être Apache et Sioux en même temps pour se retrouver sur le bon chemin. De plus les descriptions d'équipements sont inexacts. Il n'y a pas de four et/ou équipements de cuisine. La machine a laver a du être un rêve... un jour ...et il n'y a pas de chambre familiale. C'est triste de mentir. Attention l'hôtel est à ce point éloigné de tout que vous n'aurez pas le choix ... vous mangerez a l'hôtel même si ce n'est pas compris dans le prix donc attention, l'endroit reste sympa mais très isolé et beaucoup des choses promises sont en fait inexistantes. C'est dommage de vendre du vent .... Finalement le prix ne de justifie pas ... Sorry d'être négatif mais la vérité est nécessaire
