Amazing place to stay. It’s so peaceful and beautiful. The owners have created a special, cosy and welcoming holiday home. We were staying as a base for a wedding nearby but will come back to stay properly. Mark was so friendly, helpful and approachable and took time to show us around the outside area. We loved the goats, geese, pigs and lake. We will be back to cycle to the pub in Long Melford! Thank you 😊

We just loved it!

We love coming here. It was a return trip, this time bringing other family members to stay in another lodge. Lots of memories made. The children loved the paddle boards, rowing, pool table and croquet. We will be back. These lodges were an amazing find. Almost too good to tell other people!

The stay was exceptional. What the owners Stacy and Mark have achieved is remarkable. They've created a place that seems like it's in a different country. Unrivalled location with 360 views of unspoilt countryside with no other buildings in site! I've never stayed somewhere like that before. It was extremely calming and exactly what I needed for a getaway to unwind. The lake and the adjacent Lodge were perfectly positioned. I was fortunate enough to have slept the night in the Lavenham, yes it made the stay that little extra special but by no means would it have changed my outlook on what frankly was exceptional in terms of scenery, accommodation and hosting from Stacy and Mark. They've produced something special here that will create amazing memories for couples and families alike for many years to come.

For me, the sink was small and a little awkward to use. I'd have liked to have seen shower gel and shampoo holders attached to the wall of the shower. I had taken my own, but I think this adds a little extra touch for your stay. Very minor and certainly doesn't stop me from staying again, which without doubt I will be doing. To add some context here. I never stay in the same place more than once. This, to me, has to be the exception to that rule. I'd like to bring more of my family here.

Clean, safe for children and very friendly, We all had a lovely stay,
