Reasonable location

Paying for basic bed sheets , have to make own bed and strip it and put away sheets upon leaving . No soap or shampoo for showering. No hair dryer . Self cleaning should never be an option. The owner demands on the instructions in the unit which includes; cleaning toilet bowl , shower recess , vacuum floors . Late check in time . No soundproofing . Property is not built in a proper manner , windows don't fit and rattle with the wind , as does the blinds , shower door doesn't fit and leaks , vanity door missing.

It had everything you needed it was very clean and tidy. Our host was amazing and so easy to deal with.

The owner is watching your every move through his cameras. We know it now 100%. however location is good. Place is clean. Very noisy, they used some pressure tools from early morning every day for half day. Construction site next door is very noisy as well. The owner has put a lock on toilet paper to make sure 5 people don't use more then 2 rolls of paper. No single hook to hang a towel. We have left the place perfectly clean, also paid $80 for cleaning, but the owner has claimed that the place was messy and have found the excuse not to refund $400 security bond. Stay away from this place.

I didn’t like anything about this property

I wasn’t very happy that when we got there he took $400 bond out of my account without telling me after and then if we don’t make the Villa clean we won’t get our bond back. couldn’t get in till after 3 pm got no idea why because the owners don’t clean it and you clean it they just go in and look to see if it looks alright and if anything needs doing they will fix it up before you go in. Have to say the ceiling fans are absolutely dirty the fridge had stuff inside it they don’t clean it and the iron didn’t work so I couldn’t iron our clothes to go out in. The photos don’t give it justice it felt like I was in a commission area.

Host open the third room to compantiate the TV not working.

Instructions has been sent late (when we were at the front door). We had to do beds by ourself as well as the cleaning. WiFi was really slow and TV not working because of a storm. Oven not working.

The location was fine if you are wanting to access Jervis Bay. I would not call a very limited view of the bay over houses a sea view though.

I will re-phrase this question as "my advice" to the landlord: Don't overload your guests with fine print and surprise them with things like actually charging a transaction of $400 from the guest's credit card as "bond" on top of the payment for the room. I advise him to use the credit card authority if there is a problem, but common folk who are on holiday can't afford an extra $400 and waiting a long time for a refund hurts most people. Don't cheap out on giving your guests the smallest possible television, with unsatisfactory reception. Make sure your antennae's have sufficient strength Have a Wi-Fi that works, or don't offer one. Be polite friendly to your guests; even if you don't need return guests, make them feel at least a little bit respected. My final advice is: life is short and kindness costs you nothing at all.

The bed was really squeaky and cheap, with terrible pillows, the dining table was weirdly really high, cheap sheets and furnishings. Not coffee or tea supplies. Our room shared walls with another unit, you could hear lots of banging from the other unit. If the owners invested in better furnishings and put a few personal touches in here it would be really good, but just seems like they skimped on all details. Bed so uncomfy I slept on the equally uncomfy, but not squeaky couch.

Great location, very quiet. Amazing place! We want to back, for sure. But we suggest a few little changes.

We like to cook at home, so we found very few pan options. We would like If had more available toillet paper (there's just one, for 4 days - people need more than that). To be perfect, we suggest a bit more care of this little details that can be halpful for the guests.

Microwave. Had some kitchen equipment.

Could spend an easy few dollars at Kmart to buy a shower caddy, some cheap shampoo & conditioner & body wash. Soap in bathroom was so watered down it didn't do anything, and suggest buying at least 2 ply toilet paper. Wifi wouldn't load a single webpage. Had to make own bed & clean.
