Property Owner/Host & Rosa, his official overseer & Housekeeping Staff were superbly outstanding in welcoming my husband & I back to Gloucester. Tony, the proprietor, even extended us an open invite to enjoy the fruit which would always be abundantly harvest-ready in the back yard in the late summer & fall. The home was well-equipped, extremely clean w/ very firm beds the way we prefer. Generous, easy parking on site for at least 2, maybe even 3 cars. Super easy walk (even w/ kite equipment) to the Nautilus Road Bridge crossing over to Good Harbor Beach! Kitchen & linen are generously supplied w/ all appliances in fairly new operating condition. A for the natural gas oven! Wonderful cross-ventilation possible w/ windows & blinds open, but both heat & A/C are easy to adjust. If there were any concerns, the bathroom is very, very small w/ no real counter space. We neatly re-arranged the towel stand next to the tub/shower combo & adapted it to serve as counter space which worked quite well. The hot water did not get really hot, perhaps because of how the water heater was set to conserve gas/electricity. The shower curtain liner is too stiff, takes up too much shower space & makes opening & closing the curtain along the telescoping curtain bar so clumsy that even w/ gentle handling, the shower hooks disengage from the bar. A colorful & very quiet space. We didn't mind any of the soft noise each day from the next door neighbors' pool & patio. Thank you, Tony & Rosa!

Just as described, clean, quiet neighborhood, and close to all Gloucester has to offer. Would stay again.

The property was clean and comfortable. The location was great.

We come to fish tuna. This year the hurricanes caused charters to be shut down for days. We messaged the property manager requesting to roll our dates later and received no response. We reached out again on the day of check in and were told because it was the day of…could not make changes. We asked about refund of cleaning fee because we were not using the property and were told they would check into it. Understood then we were dealing with third party property management company and not the owner. Once I got his information and contacted him he was very understanding and at least agreed to refund our cleaning fee. For this reason I’m giving three stars. The communication with the property management company was horrible and they were not helpful just trying to maximize their management fees. It’s truly a shame when you book on VRBO expecting to deal with real owners and you get third party managers. I will be more careful in the future.
