It had everything we needed for our stay of 5 nights, clean and comfortable and well stocked for self catering. Nice private secure garden with a dog. Peaceful and close to beach and shop. Plenty of info left for using heating etc. We had a lovely stay.

Lighting needed down the pathway to hut. As we were there for 5 nights extra towels would have been good. Better pillows on the bed. Maybe some outdoor storage for cases and bags as understandably there's no room inside. Parking was annoying as we were coming and going a lot with a dog so would prefer being closer.

I love the fact that you're off the beaten path, you have your own private garden, and it's quiet. It's a great place to stay and dog friendly too. You're in walking distance from a couple of corner shops, a pub and the beach, Ryde is within walking distance too. Buses are frequent and reliable as well.

There is nothing I didn't like.

The positives were the enclosed garden for our dog. The hut was well equipped and comfortable. It was in quiet area, very close to Appley park and the beach which is what we wanted. The bedding and towels were clean. The sink and fridge were also clean. The bathroom sink and toilet also appeared to be clean.

There were cobwebs and dust on every surface both inside and outside of the hut. The windows were dirty. The shower was grubby and the shower trap was disgusting, it was black and full of hair. The large table in the garden was covered in bird poop. The outside tables and chairs were covered in dust and had to be cleaned before they could be used. The grass needed cutting and there were weeds coming through the fences. The bolt on the gate did not fasten. The hut could and should have been lovely but it has been neglected and not cleaned properly in a long time There was also nowhere to put any clothes so had to buy a clothes rail and hangers which i have left behind for others to use.

Close to all amenities

The smell that was coming into the hut was totally unacceptable, it was coming from the bathroom drains. I tried bleach but it was still there. When windows and doors were closed it was very toxic. Through the night it was vile. Came home early, it made us feel poorly health issue
