Quiet secluded location down a private gated road. Large house with plenty of space. 2 bedrooms with on-suite, the other 2 share a bathroom. There were 6 of us in the party - 2 couples and 2 singles - the accommodation suited us well. Lots of tiled surfaces - new kitchen and appliances. Parking space for at least 2 cars. Good communication from the host - and a hassle-free stay. Damage deposit refunded promptly. We had high expectations with all the "10-score" reviews - but more needs to be done to make this place truly "exceptional". It would be a dis-service to the other places we've stayed at in the past in, that really did tick every box, to give this a 10.

There are a few niggles that if sorted would really make this an exceptional place to stay. Kitchen equipment is a little "spartan" - just a kettle and a 2-slice toaster. At this price point we would expect more - we're used to seeing a coffee machine and more in the way of cups, plates etc. No large bowls for a salad, or for preparing food. No basic essentials - tea / coffee / milk - maybe we've been spoiled by other hosts in the past - but this the sort of thing that earns a "10" No curtains anywhere - just blinds upstairs and front-facing downstairs windows. The outside security lights were triggered at night on a few occasions by the wildlife. The bright light shining in through the blinds did wake us. The downstairs layout is slightly usual - the main dining table is in the carpeted living room and the TV is in the tiled kitchen / open-plan dining area. Another sofa in the living room wouldn't go amiss - for our party of 6 we couldn't all comfortably chill together in the evening. It felt like we had come on the tail-end of a busy season, and maintenance hadn't quite kept up. There was some liquid staining on one of the sofas, a broken chair outside, and the carpets would benefit from a proper clean. All that being said, these were niggles rather than show-stoppers, and the host was open to constructive feedback - so I do hope some of these are addressed for future guests.

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely home in Harrow-on-the-Hill. The property was beautiful, clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The area was also lovely and peaceful, with great surroundings and convenient access to everything nearby. I cannot complain, Thank you 👍

Lots of space and comfortable for a nights stay.

Wasn’t expecting to pay a security deposit on my card on arrival (luckily I had funds!). Did take 1 week to be returned to me.

The property was very clean and had everything we needed! The beds were very comfy and such a lovely quiet area to spend a couple days to chill with friends and family. Would definitely recommend this!
