Way Kap Hostel Cusco

La ciudad de Cusco es realmente fascinante pero lo que hizo que realmente se pueda disfrutar al máximo fue haber escogido el Way Kap Hostel como el lugar indicado para descansar y pasar un buen rato después de las largas rutas turísticas. 🛌🏻 Opté por la pieza compartida mixta, las literas, super cómodas, bastante privadas, cuenta con su locker correspondiente, sabanas limpias, conección eléctrica y luz particular. 💯 Puntos. 🥣 La reserva que tuve incluía desayuno, este servicio es buffet, super variado y van llenando stock constantemente, atienden desde las 6:30 am un horario bastante adecuado tomando en cuenta que muchos tours empiezan desde temprano, pero si tu caso es como lo fue el mío que iniciaba un poco antes pues no hay de que preocuparse porque si tu lo solicitas el staff te prepara un desayuno para llevar, la cantidad perfecta para iniciar el día. También tienen tres opciones de luch con costo adicional y la puedes pedir también para llevar. 💯 Puntos. 🛀🏻 El tema de los baños y duchas, existen ambas dependencias mixtas o separadas, la female shower es bastante cómoda, agua caliente, y también cuenta con una secadora de pelo bastante útil. En cuanto a la limpieza pues es muy buena, no solo cambian las bolsas de desechos, que sería lo lógico, sino también cambian los recipientes, eso da a entender que el protocolo de limpieza es bastante exsaustivo.Un punto extra por tener agua caliente también en los lavamanos de todos los baños. 💯 Puntos 🛋️ Los ambientes compartidos son espectaculares, están bien cuidados y la decoración es bastante cómoda y acogedora visualmente, tiene áreas de trabajo, áreas de siesta, áreas de juego, la cocina común de igual manera, se mantiene limpia y tienen etiquetas a la mano para que puedas distinguir tus alimentos, tiene refrigerador, microondas y el menaje correspondiente. Las instrucciones son bastante claras y también tienen un protocolo de limpieza en un día específico para evitar acumulaciones. 💯 Puntos.

It was very beautiful, quiet and the beds were so comfortable. We had a surprise upgrade because of a double booking and the room was lovely. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

The washing we did post Inca trail took 24 hours (as expected), however it came back still part dirty (some mud etc.). This was disappointing especially as it wasn’t the cheapest laundry we’ve done. And the floor of the room was dirty so we had to wipe our feet every night before getting in bed.

Very good location, nice people working inside, lobby with TV, free and available tea and coca leaves :)

Nothing in particular - maybe onlu breakfast included in price was not tasty ( we had it only once ).

Friendly and great hostel. They put on dancing classes on a thur, Fri and sat.. location is up hill so bear in mind if you struggle.

Now. This is where it's let down. The bed and room were great. I had messaged a head asking for a room with a window because we could see some of the rooms had no windows. On arrival the guy seemed lost when I mentioned the window. So he called a manager. After a quick chat we were told the room we booked had had an accident and had been flooded from the toilet. I asked to see but they couldn't. So we were in this nice room no window but plastic sky light. The room was so stuffy and hot that we both struggled to sleep. My partner can fall asleep sleep anywhere. We tried leaving the door open before going to sleep but looked on to the enclosed courtyard where reception was. By the end of our stay she didn't feel so great with no ventilation. Major let down and for this I wouldn't stay here again which is a shame. Also as all rooms look on to reception area/courtyard it can be loud and music played at times. First night we were there music was loud and went on late. Other nights more staff or guests speaking loudly.
