Highly recommended stay, especially as a solo traveler!! The rooms were clean and really well decorated, and the staff were extremely attentive and helpful. They’ll even help you arrange a tuk tuk to take you around the sights at a reasonable price (my tuk tuk driver was fantastic too!). Location is perfect for sightseeing also. Last but not least, the food was delicious, and the owner was extremely friendly, welcoming and accommodating of any dietary needs. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again :)

Great value for money. Clean and comfortable room and a nice rooftop

I loved everything

The outside of the building is deceiving, but the Lodge is a B&B with a hotel like-feel. It's a great stay for tourists as the location gets you quickly to many attractions and there are several places nearby. The rooms and balcony/restaurant area are a highlight. The room was exactly as the picture, spacious and with great furniture. The bathroom was clean and came with all the amenities (towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo & conditioner). The room was also pretty sound proof to the noise outside and between the rooms/rooftop. The upstairs area is good to hang out, get some work in and socialize with the owner and other guests. The plants on the balcony are the perfect touch and break from the bustle of they city below. They also provide laundry services but can be inconsistent of when they return it. I would advise to use it if you have at least 2 days before check out. The breakfast and dinner were healthy and delicious, it is an additional charge. Overall it was a good stay and worth the value!

The property only accepts cash payments which can be very inconvenient. They tally up everything at the end such as using the laundry service, or price of meals so keep track of how much you're spending. My first day, the staff came to my door in the middle of the day with a man to check the bathroom. It was a weird and awkward experience and wish I had been given the heads up. If I wasn't there at the time, I wonder if they would have just entered the room without me knowing. Twice I was told my laundry would be done at a certain time and date and it wasn't. I'm glad it wasn't the day I checked out or that would have been stressful. Honesty is the best policy.

Clean and cozy .. the mattress was very hard for my preference but overall, the staff was polite and friendly.

Constant noise from the adjacent rooms was a spoiler to a good sleep and mostly all the rooms have a window facing right onto the street which is a problem if you are a light sleeper.
