Good location near the centre of town. Spacious and comfortable. 2 bedrooms plus large sitting room and kitchen. Handy off-street parking. Very comfy double bed Well-equipped kitchen

The bathroom, mainly. It has a huge, very deep metal roll-top bath on a plinth, with a hand-held shower. It looks stylish but it’s very impractical; a step is provided to help climb into it. It’s an accident waiting to happen. The bathroom ceiling light is a low-hung glass chandelier right in front of the wash basin. Anyone over about 5’6” (like me - 6’2”) will collide with it. This bathroom has been designed by an artist and needs the attention of a pragmatist. The hot water and heating controls are too complex. Badly-sited, dinky little TV in the sitting room provides only an obscure On Demand service.

We loved that the host left us some coffee and a couple of things to nibble on. We also absolutely loved how well equipped it was for us and our children

Absolutely beautiful apartment with so much character, had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Hosts left chocolate lindt teddies on the pillows in bedrooms, kitchen had selection of teabags, coffee, crisps and biscuits and they even gave advice and recommendations about where to go and what to do. The Chinese takeaway at the end of the street was delicious aswell.

Great location, close to lovely restaurants and bars. The main bedroom was beautifully decorated with a very comfortable double bed. We loved the character of the property and were impressed with the well-equipped kitchen.

The single beds in the second bedroom were unfortunately very uncomfortable, and I would say they are not really suitable for two adults. My mum and her friend stayed in this room and, sadly, didn’t get much sleep as the mattresses were not very comfortable and the sheets didn’t feel particularly good quality. The double bed in the main bedroom, however, was lovely and very comfortable. I would recommend providing a similar quality bed and bedding in the second bedroom to improve the overall comfort of the stay. There was also an unpleasant smell of drains on the landing outside the bathroom. We also felt that having some basic essentials, such as milk, would have been a nice touch on arrival.
