Magnificent, cosy apartment with balcony in the Latin Quarter
Eine sehr gemütliche Wohnung mit viel Charme im Herzen des Quartier Latin, in der Nähe der berühmten Rue Mouffetard. 64 m² Wohnfläche, mit 2 Schlafzimmern, davon eines im Zwischengeschoss, einem Wohnzimmer mit einem sehr bequemen italienischen Schlafsofa, einer offenen Einbauküche mit Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine, Mikrowelle und Heißluftofen, Kühlschrank und Gefrierschrank sowie allem, was man zum Kochen braucht, einem schönen, komplett renovierten Badezimmer und einem großen, nach Süden ausgerichteten Balkon voller Pflanzen und Blumen – sehr ruhig gelegen. Sehr hell. 2 Minuten von der Metrostation Censier-Daubenton entfernt.
10 Minuten von Saint-Michel und Saint-Germain sowie von Notre-Dame entfernt. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Jardin du Luxembourg, 5 Minuten zum Jardin des Plantes, in dem sich das Naturkundemuseum befindet, und direkt gegenüber die Große Moschee von Paris. 5 Minuten vom Panthéon und der Sorbonne entfernt. Der Louvre ist in 8 Minuten direkt mit der U-Bahn zu erreichen, das Naturkundemuseum in 5 Minuten zu Fuß, das Musée de Cluny in 6 Minuten mit dem Bus, die Arènes de Lutece in 13 Minuten zu Fuß, die Katakomben in 20 Minuten zu Fuß, das Panthéon in 5 Minuten zu Fuß usw. usw. …
Von den hervorragenden Restaurants und Cafés ganz zu schweigen! Und natürlich befindest du dich mitten in der historischen Rue Mouffetard mit ihren Restaurants, Cafés, Bars, Bäckereien und Käsegeschäften, Eisdielen und allem, was du dir nur wünschen kannst.
Die Wohnung liegt in der Nähe der Bahnhöfe Gare de Lyon, Montparnasse und Austerlitz. 20–30 Minuten vom Flughafen Orly und 45 Minuten von Roissy Charles de Gaulle entfernt.
Die Linie 7, die nur 2 Minuten entfernt ist, bringt dich in 8 Minuten direkt zum Louvre, in 7 Minuten zur Opéra National und zur Pont Neuf.
Mit den Buslinien 27 oder 47 bist du in 5 Minuten bei Notre-Dame, Saint-Michel und Saint-Germain.

Lovely, cozy, charming apartment. Samira, the host, was very helpful with recommendations. Great area, close to shops, an amazing boulangerie and great restaurants. We had three adults and we loved this apartment and would stay again. That said, it should be noted that this apartment is up a couple flights of steep and curved stairs and not everyone could do the stairs, let alone bring their luggage up too.

Here’s a review with clarifications for future visitors to help with planning. For reference, we are a family of 5 (3 children aged 8, 12, and 14) on a 1 month trip through France. We stayed at this apartment for 3 days during a hot spell in May Communication with the host was excellent. She was very friendly, engaging, and gave us some great restaurant tips. While nothing is factually inaccurate in the listing, I thought we could shed some light for those considering a stay. First off, as others have mentioned, this is the host's residence so the rental is like a very old school “Tech BnB” - like when you were paying to surf someone's couch. You are living with their personal, every-day things. If you left to go to work one day and someone moved in right behind you, that's essentially the feeling of the flat and the level of tidiness. Don't expect any storage space (we had a fair amount of luggage given the length of our trip). This becomes an issue only because the apartment is small and somewhat cluttered. Honestly, the apartment would work well for two persons if you're planning to use it for anything besides a home base. I have no idea how the other family of 5 made it work. The loft is, well, a loft. Ok for kids, but unless you like being on your hands and knees, no real space for adults. In general, re-read the description and understand what this place is: good spot, very nice host, cool/quirky space. What it isn't: a professional vacation rental.

The best part about this property was the location! The Latin quarter had a lot to offer and gave a true Parisian feel. The cafes and markets were lovely to stroll around at night and early morning. It was also close to the bus and metro making it easy to get to other parts of Paris. This apartment is very lived in. It seemed as if the host just left when it was time for us to check in. The floors were dirty as well as the shower, and there were no clear instructions on how to not get water all over the floor since there are no doors. I noticed mouse droppings a few different places then saw the mouse run across the kitchen counter the following morning. The host did bring traps when notified but it just left a bad overall feel after noticing the uncleanliness from the beginning. If you’re looking for a place to stay in a great neighborhood and can deal with a little dirt then this is your spot!
