The initial system for the building with passcodes and the room key was straightforward. The gift pack is a nice gesture, if a little generic - shower gel and better snacks would improve it if I’m being picky, as it could never please everyone. The room and bathroom were clean, as well as the kitchen which was well provisioned. The free coffee machine was essential for starting the day. The location is close to two Metro stations and a tramline, plus supermarkets and the waterfront. Communication with the hosts was quick and helpful.

My room (1) faced the street, which was very loud on the Saturday night. To be expected perhaps, but not ideal on arrival hoping for a good night’s sleep. Walking around alone I felt safe but didn’t appreciate the constant offers of drugs. I quickly learned to spot the offenders and decline though. The rooms are assigned particular bathrooms using labels on the doors, but this depends on other guests understanding and/or caring about it. My shower quickly ran out of hot water one morning and I couldn’t use my own bathroom another time because of another guest’s lack of understanding/selfishness. A second visit would have me more prepared for these potential inconveniences.

Great location, close to many major sites, train station, subway, trams, restaurants, grocery stores. Location could not be better. Ah! And it was quiet throught the night so I could have a good sleep :) The house is kept very clean, there are many bathrooms/toilets available. The kitchen is very well equipped. Coffee, chocolates, cooking oils, salt, sugar, vinegar etc all available. The welcome treat pack made me smile, what a lovely touch! The other housemates were all respectful, that was my luck. The room was large, large windows overlooking the cute Lisbon streets and terraces. I had a very comfortable stay and will certainly return to this same place.

This was my best stay in Lisbon! Incredible placement, value for money is very high and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I wanted to add another person to already paid booking and it wasn’t a problem, everything was solved smoothly! If you want to have comfortable, clean and affordable accommodation in Lisbon - this is definitely the one!

The location is amazing. No-contact check in and check out which was convenient when you have late plane schedules.

I can’t say it’s so cheap for the facility. You never know which size bedroom you will get out of the pictures shown on the ad. Mine was quite small with broken blinds so I had to be exposed to the light outside and sunlights constantly, also facing the windows of the building right opposite. Toilet lever was broken as well. There’s no amenities so you need to bring yours. No air conditioning in each room, just very old fan in your room and no proper ventilation.
