The apartment is newly renovated and nicely decorated. It's a good size, and in a very good location. Very quiet and peaceful and private. I really liked it, especially for the price. I would definitely come back here next time.
The AC wasn't very strong, but thankfully the property owner allowed me to keep an extra key so I could leave the AC on for my little dog who traveled with me. It was so hot in Sicily this summer, so I am really happy he made this exception for us. The sofa bed wasn't super clean, I think they forgot to change the sheet, but I didn't use it anyway so it was ok for me. I could have used an extra towel in the kitchen.

The location matters. Everything was clean and worked as it is supposed to. The host was always available and answered quickly. There are several places nearby which we used daily: a shop where you can find almost everything you need, a pizza shop and cafe for a breakfast.
Poor sound insulation

Friendly host, smooth self check-in/ check-out, quiet location but also close to Duomo, the apartment was clean, the complex also has a laundry and a balcony which are nice additions.
Perhaps some slippers or mats would have been useful.
