A dream come true !! We loved staying at the St.George Hotel! So much charm here at this special place. Thankful for all the thought and care Ria pours into this establishment!

The staff were amazing. The wonderful lady who takes of it was the most welcoming and kind person. The hotel was amazing, it was wonderful experience. It really made the experience more amzing

We stayed 2 nights. It couldn’t have been better. Everything was top notch.

The hotel is an historic building dating back to 1868, situated in the centre of the historic goldmine town of Barkerville, BC. Funky may describe it best and is certainly not for everyone. Shared bathroom for 4 of the units and ensuites for the remains 3 rooms. There is no elevator and the stairs are a bit steep for some. The continental breakfast is outstanding. You’re there for the town the history and a great getaway. A sleep so quiet that nothing but you breathing can be heard. Loved all of it. We found three days not enough to discover everything. I can’t forget the host, Ria, charming and attentive.
