The apartment is well equipped, the cleaning was ok. I really appreciated the sofa bed was left ready for my two children. The area is quite nice for children during day time, large pedestrian areas and playgrounds are nearby. (That changes after dark when it becomes a bit sketchy).

Frustrating pre-check-in and billing issues Completing the booking on Booking.com is only the first step—you are then required to complete a mandatory off-platform pre-check-in. I wish this had been clearly stated upfront. The process demands an excessive amount of personal data, including copies of all passports (even for toddlers) and verification selfies of every family member holding their ID. If you don't comply, you can't check in. On top of that, I was overcharged by more than double the actual Tourist Tax rate, as they charged for minors who are legally exempt. While this was eventually corrected after I raised it through Booking.com customer service, I received no apology or explanation. It leaves me wondering whether this was a system glitch or a deliberate attempt to extract extra money
