Canterbury Inn

Basic, clean, good location for our purposes.

smallish towels in bathroom

Great budget motel. Clean room. Super comfortable bed! Exactly what we needed.

All good

Being downtown surrounded by mountains

Needs a bit of maintenance exterior and interior is old and worn down

Not a lot

We knew it was a motel type of accommodation but were expecting something a little better. There was some rubbish, left by previous occupants, in the bathroom cupboard and under the bed, we put this in the bathroom bin. The bedding looked far from fresh, very crumpled, there were two smallish pillows, one pillowcase was white and the other matched the duvet cover. Not sure that anything had been changed since the previous occupants left. We would have reported this to the office had it been open, should have opened at 9am but we waited until 9.10am and there was no sign of anyone so we left as we had to go and get breakfast. The B&B we stayed at the night before was cleaner, nicer, with a wonderful breakfast included and it was a good deal cheaper than Canterbury Inn. Would not go there again
