Nooju Pererenan

The property has a pleasant atmosphere, a nice swimming pool and plenty of space around it. My room was very spacious, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable enough for remote work. Breakfast was freshly prepared every morning and was consistently very good. Housekeeping provided clean replacement towels whenever the room was cleaned, and the laundry service was also very helpful. Most importantly, every member of staff was friendly and welcoming.

The property is located quite far inside from the main road, along a narrow, muddy and damaged access road surrounded by construction. Grab cars and bikes were still able to reach the property, but some drivers were surprised by the road. Parts of the room also felt old and needed maintenance. The mattress was placed on a large cement platform rather than a regular bed frame. The door was stiff, rusty and difficult to close properly. The shower spray was uncomfortably harsh and could not be adjusted, although the hot water itself worked well. The air-conditioning was underpowered for such a large room—I had to set it to 16°C—and it occasionally made strange noises during the night. Repairing the door, shower and AC would improve the stay considerably.

I really enjoyed my stay at Nooju! It’s tucked away from the main roads, so the area is wonderfully quiet in the evenings and at night i.e. no noisy motorbikes to disturb your sleep. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was also very comfortable, and breakfast was simple but delicious. Overall, it was a safe, peaceful and relaxing stay, and I’d happily stay here again.

The shower could be improved, as the water pressure was quite low. It would also have been very helpful to have a kettle in the room for added convenience.

Communication is complicated with the staff, we sent messages to solve a problem several times and no answers. In addition, there are cats that prowl on the roofs and make a lot of noise during the night AND during the day, it was very tiring and prevented us from sleeping - the staff did not know how to answer us on this subject and help us
