Great views and amazing layout. It was wonderful to be walking distance to a few restaurants and the drive to the national park was very quick and easy.

It is a little too close to the road.

The location and its associated views are what makes this property so special. We booked to stay in January, hoping to do some winter activities around Shiretoko Peninsular, however in the end we simply enjoyed the comfort of this property and spent our time gazing at the changing snowy conditions outside our windows feeling cosy and very happy. We enjoyed the comfort, warmth and luxury of this accommodation (including its sauna!) and enjoyed having a fully equipped house to ourselves (rather than a hotel room) but most of all we loved the view! We even investigated trying to extend our stay while there...

We didn't have our own transport and caught trains and a bus to get to the property. While check-in wasn't exactly hard it did require having to go to another hotel to do it. Thankfully (and not by our arrangement) the check-in hotel had a minibus meeting the public bus saving us from tramping through the snow in the dark to check in and then get to our accommodation. It would be worth arranging this in advance.
