La Nova Bed and Museum

It’s a beautiful hotel with a lot of art and interesting things to look at. Great vibe. The only potential downside is that there are a lot of stairs to get to the rooms and so if you have a lot of luggage or mobility issues, it might not be a good fit for you.

Fantastic stay. It was such a fascinating place so much history and so beautiful. Every evening we would sit out and have a glass of wine and stare at the beautiful art. It has the best bar and café in the Piazza with amazing food and probably the best apparel spritz we had on our whole trip. The staff are wonderful, very kind and helpful.

Loved our stay, very comfortable beds, amazing location, and enjoyable grounds to explore. Highly recommend!

This is a truly unique property. It is in a working museum in a plaza that does not allow cars. So you will role you bags up the cobblestone to get to it. There was minor construction happening so the door number was covered and it took us some hunting to find the entrance. All of the rooms are on the 4th floor (which is the 5th floor in Italy) and it is a WALK UP with no AC in the stairwell or halls. But some really fantastic art along the way. We are fit, and they bring our bags up, but during the heat wave we arrived at our room very hot and sweaty and they had NOT turned the AC on. So the room was about 90 degrees when we arrived and took an hour to cool down. On day two there was a power outage on the block. When we came back to the hotel that evening they were holding a 200 person dinner in the museum, but told us that we had to leave because they had no power. They had gotten us another hotel (close by) and would bring us. They did, but the hotel was not even CLOSE to the same quality. After several hours of discussion, the new hotel agreed to move us to another one of their properties on the following day, but we spent the night in what can only be described as a dorm room with two single beds arranged heat to toe and a bathroom that smelled moldy. It was a terrible experience and handled VERY poorly by La Nova.
