Naturally Pacific Resort

Large room with a king size bed. Lots of natural light. Our room had a a window that opens and other have a full balcony. Really liked how in the bathroom you can close off the toilet from the sink and shower. Large Gym on the 2nd floor, very large indoor fool and outdoor hot tub. The hotel and grounds were all immaculately kept. The hotel restaurant looked beautiful but was not able to try. They have a large spa on site to so its a great way to escape and treat yourself to a game of golf and spa day.

Sadly you can hear the guests in the room above you walking around. We thought it was only our unit but at dinner talking to others they said they had similar issues. This next issue is more endemic of the entire hospitality issue in Canada at the moment. The hotel was running short on staff in the F&B team which limited the number of guests in the main restaurant and we ended up eating at the driving range pub. Hopefully we can return to try the main restaurant.

The place was impressively beautiful, the room was huge and very comfortable with a nice property view, the pool, sauna and jacuzzi were clean and the staff was nice even after a couple of issues: things were promptly resolved. I also think it was very smart to have a quick snack bar at the reception, instead of in the room: that way you know the snacks are fresh and available, but not sitting in the room available for everyone to touch.

a lot of small tiny things, nothing major. the pool and the hot tub should have been warmer. They were not warm enough for a beautiful sunny warm fall day, so they were definitely not welcoming during a gloomy one the next day. Please, keep them a tiny bit warmer for the upcoming cold months, thanks! we had some issue with double charge from the in-room dining, but it was promptly removed after I spotted the error. The phone in the room didn't work, so we had to keep calling the reception and they had to translate the orders. We were called back that their lounge/bar next door ran out of pizza, which was a huge hassle to resolve, but we were able to order something else eventually. Also, it's time to remove hidden resort fees, just include it in the full price, we see them in total price anyway.

Food was fantastic

New hotel so clean and modern. Concierge team welcoming and very professional.

The reception team seemed disorganised and not overly helpful whereas the concierge team could not have more professional and helpful. We decided to use room service as we were weary from travelling - the food was OK and service was good. As a new hotel I would suggest that staff need more training and to be more aware of quality of service. Location quite a long way out of town - you need a car and no public transport options
