The location was wonderful, and Ari was great as well. Everything is easily accessible by scooter, and there is a beach nearby. The villa is in a peaceful and private setting, despite the construction work happening next door. We stayed in three different villas during our trip to Bali, and this was the most expensive one, but definitely not the best. The location and staff were excellent, but cleanliness and maintenance really need improvement.

The biggest downside was that the villa was not as clean and well-maintained as we expected. The bathroom looked the dirtiest, although some of the stains seemed to be the kind that can no longer be removed. There were stains throughout the villa, with some deeply ingrained in the stone floors and walls. Honestly, when we first walked into the villa, our initial reaction was that we wanted to leave. We eventually got used to it, but it was still disappointing. The bed sheets were changed twice, but both sets had stains on them. These are basic things that should really be spotless when staying at a place of this standard. The bed was also extremely squeaky, making noise every time we turned over during the night.

Une villa magnifique à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur. Le personnel est aimable et efficace. Il faut idéalement un scooter pour vous balader à Uluwatu. Si vous n’aimez pas les moustiques prévoyez de l’insect écran avec vous. Rien d’insurmontable mais un peu présent. Pas eu de soucis concernant les travaux ni de bruits.

We dropped off our bags before check in and once our room was ready the host just left our bags in the room with the door unlocked and keys in the door. There is an inside “garden” which attracts lots of insects inside the villa especially ants. Floors have lots of stains on them. Bathroom floor and sink also covered in stains. Bathroom has a really bad smell especially coming from the shower head. Toilet hose was leaking water the entire time. Bed sheets and towels have stains all over them, we asked for the bed sheets to be changed due to the stains and the host couldn’t fix until the next day… he seemed like a nice person but was really disorganised. There was no check in at all to explain anything in the villa. Location is far from the main area it’s about a 15 min scooter ride. The only thing that’s close is the cashew tree cafe. There’s lots of construction around but it wasn’t too noisy. Pillows really uncomfortable.
