We stayed in the lodge. It was Very cozy, exactly as shown in pictures. The beds were extremely comfortable. Hill House is walking distance to supermarkets, pubs, restaurants. breakfast foods, tea buns and treats were provided for us on arrival. Salah is amazing. Very kind, friendly and very responsive to any questions we had. He could not do enough for us. I hope we can come back again soon.

We found it very hot in the lodge and difficult to regulate the temperature, though we did not ask about it either, so maybe that’s our fault.

Il n'y a, que 4 chaises hors nous étions 5. Ajouter une petite table extérieure serait super comme il y a une terrasse.

Nothing can surpass the view of the Rock of Cashel from the property, in the evening, when it's lit up in pink light and shining in the distance. The host met us with a friendly greeting and the key. Easy access and on site parking. Downstairs, there is a nice lounge/dining space, plus the kitchen. I believe there is a downstairs bedroom as well, which was offered to us for my less mobile 74yo mother but we opted for the two upstairs rooms as that's where the bathroom is. The bedrooms were lovely. Both spacious with very comfortable beds and the main room offers views of the Rock that are simply breath-taking. The kitchen is a good size and has ample, if mismatched crockery. The breakfast provisions were tasty and much appreciated.

The upstairs bathroom could prove tricky for anyone staying on the lower floor. We had an issue with the stovetop but it was quickly rectified by the owner. For a property that has everything up to 10/10 the mismatched crockery in the kitchen seemed a bit of a let down (sure go for retro but make sure it matches/vibes and there's enough).
