Viajero Arequipa Hostel

Really great location, helpful staff, lovely facilities and the hot tub with views of the volcanoes by the rooftop bar was stand out!

Great hostel in a very convenient location in Arequipa! I arrived early in the morning with Peru Hop and was able to book the night before so I could check in as soon as I arrived. This was perfect as I needed a bit of sleep before continuing my journey later that day. I also loved that you could donate clothes you no longer needed. Overall, a great experience!

The location is amazing, and the rooms are so clean and modern. One of the best showers I’ve had the whole time I’ve been in Peru - great water pressure and loads of hot water. There was also a hairdryer provided in the bathroom. In addition to the en-suite rooms there are also a couple of bathrooms, including a shower on each of the floors, meaning you didn’t have to wait if someone else was in the bathroom. Bed was really comfy and the staff were lovely. The rooftop area has amazing views over Arequipa

The WiFi wasn’t very reliable and more communal spaces would be nice, particularly as it gets quite cold in the evening and the only indoor communal spaces were the coworking area and the attached restaurant

The room was very comfy, spacious and clean.

The room was right next to the rooftop bar and it was impossible to sleep until early hours of the morning. The music was incredibly loud and there were people constantly slamming doors and talking loud in the corridor, until at least 2am. They say the rooms are soundproofed, but given how loud the music was, that made no difference.
