Initial impression was good but cracks soon appeared. Room was comfortable but insufficient pillows and no air dryer. Reception supplied an air dryer but explained it was the only one.
The evening meal was good and I really enjoyed the food and wine. The Buffet Breakfast was a big disappointment, a large party had eaten before me and the tables had not been cleaned and the buffet had not been re-stocked. There was only one waitress to start with and she obviously could not cope, help did arrive before I finished and left the restaurant.
The Reception staff could not understand English and when asked to arrange a Taxi, gave me a card with a list of about 10 telephone numbers and told me to call. Having tried all 10 numbers with not one answering, I explained my problem to the receptionist and she shrugged her shoulders and did not try to help. The Hotel seemed to be very short staffed but no attempt to help me.
