Zanzi Soul Luxury Boutique Hotel

Zanzi Soul was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, everything about the experience felt special. It has, in my opinion, the best beach in Zanzibar, with crystal-clear water, a peaceful atmosphere, and such a calm environment that you immediately feel relaxed. The breakfast was perfect, and their fresh juices were absolutely amazing. The location is also excellent — it feels peaceful and secluded, but you’re still close to everything. It’s only around 15 minutes from the cafés and restaurants along the southeast coast, so you really don’t feel like you’re missing out on anything. . Getting to the hotel was also much easier than we expected , the roads were accessible, the location on the map was accurate, and the sign made it easy to find. A particularly nice touch was that the hotel created a WhatsApp group for us, keeping us directly connected with the owners and team throughout our stay. This was incredibly comforting and made the whole experience feel much more personal. Whenever we needed anything, communication was easy and immediate. Honestly, I can’t say enough about this experience. I will book Zanzi Soul every single time I travel to Zanzibar. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Absolutely loved our stay at Zanzi Soul! From the moment we arrived, Mr. Alin came all the way to reception to personally welcome us. He insisted that we do our check-in on the restaurant side, where we were treated to fresh fruits and a lovely welcome drink. He then personally took us around for a room and property tour, making sure we felt comfortable and welcomed from the very beginning. I’m honestly in love with every little detail of this place. I used to work as cabin crew and have had the opportunity to visit and stay in many hotels around the world, and I can genuinely say that Zanzi Soul is one of the best I’ve experienced. The food tastes absolutely delicious, the juices are incredibly fresh, and everything feels so thoughtfully done. The staff are warm, friendly, and attentive, and Mr. Alin is always available to assist with any questions or requests. You can truly feel the passion and attention to detail in everything here. Such a beautiful place, with amazing hospitality. I would definitely come back!

The perfect place to stay and chill on our honeymoon. The location is unbelievable, watching the sunrise from your bed is worth the money on it's own. The staff from owner Alin to Mina who looked after us all day every day to the cleaning and security staff are all really nice people and do their upmost to make your stay as enjoyable as they possibly can. Paje is a short taxi away if you want to get a bit more lively in the night and I would say staying there and driving in of a night is having the best of both worlds. I could not recommend this place enough!!!

Nothing everything was perfect.

Total toll empfand wir, dass es sich um eine sehr kleine Anlage handelt. Insgesamt gibt es dort sieben Einheiten. D.h. drei kleine Häuschen, in denen jeweils zwei Paare übernachten können. Zusätzlich eine Einheit, in der auch eine Familie mit bis zu vier Personen wohnen kann. Das Personal war super freundlich. Das Frühstück bot eine Auswahl, dass wir jeden Morgen am überlegen waren, was wollen wir nun frühstücken. Ganztägig hatten wir die Möglichkeit im Restaurant zu essen und zu trinken. Die Qualität der Küche ist sehr gut. Die Lage ein wenig abseits, aber dadurch auch sehr ruhig.

Auf der Insel gibt es generell ein Problem bezüglich der Infrastruktur. Regelmäßig ist dort der Strom ausgefallen. Diese Problematik konnte durch den Stromgenerator vor Ort jedoch immer relativ schnell gelöst werden.
