The property met our needs perfectly..private spaces for our three family groups, kitchen was well-equipped, the dock and pool were wonderful. The boat traffic was loud and disruptive through the night. The river is narrow and there is constant traffic up and down in front of the dock. This was our only drawback at this property. The guesthouse is quiet and private. The bathroom is extremely small and entry space is limited. The tiny shower sprays onto the the floor, and the nozzle is impossible to adjust away from your face. A larger than average person would not be able to access the bathroom, as the door does not fully open, as it hits the commode. ** the hot water throughout the property is scorching. Use care with children.

We really enjoyed our stay and the beautiful lake views. Our stay was great. The house was beautiful and clean.

Very nice place for a large family get-together! Thanks for having us. Finally found remotes - they are located in each room in what looks like a book. Could never get the ceiling fan in the living room to work even though we went and bought new batteries.

The property was beautiful, with plenty of space and ample seating for our large group. We especially enjoyed the pool, easy water access, and the abundance of hot water thanks to multiple water heaters.Unfortunately, several issues impacted our stay. Upon arrival, the neighbors and their dog were using the pool. This was unexpected and uncomfortable. The outdoor areas needed attention. The patio was covered in spiderwebs and dead bugs, and miscellaneous items had been left behind from previous guests. Ants were prevalent throughout the grass and walkways. A team member came to treat the issue.Of the five beds in the main house, only the two king beds were comfortable. The other beds squeaked and creaked with slight movement, making sleep difficult. The bedroom layout was also unusual and should have been described more clearly in the listing. The kitchen was challenging for a large group. Only two small stove burners worked properly, and one large burner had completely fallen in. Neither outdoor grill was usable, as both were filthy and rusted through, so we purchased a grill ourselves. The advertised basket of beach towels was missing, and only one boat lift was functional because the other lacked the operating knob.We spoke directly with the owner before leaving and made her aware of these issues. While the property has many great features, the lack of maintenance and attention to detail affected our experience. Given the cost, we left somewhat disappointed.
