The old town of Bari is a super maze of small medieval streets. A number of places offer a converted ground floor room for rent. These are essentially kitchens/workrooms in their original form. This means that the room opens directly onto the street and consists, basically, of a single room with a bathroom. It can be a little noisy at night, but that didn't bother me. I loved being right in the middle of the old town with all the bustling life that entails.
Breakfast vouchers were provided for a local cafe. The breakfast was OK (a coffee and a croissant stuffed with sweet flavouring) but personally I'd rather go somewhere else and get a nicer one. I was surprised the hotel tax was on top of the cost of the room (which wasn't cheap), surely that could be included in the cost? It wasn't much (8 euros) but meant I had to hunt around for cash.

Bei dem Frühstück handelte es sich um ein Croisant und einen Kaffe oder Cappuchino. Das war sehr schmackhaft. Mussten dafür nur 50m um dei Ecke in ein kleines Kaffee gehen. Frühstückskarten lagen parat im Zimmer auf dem Tisch.
Da dieses Zimmer mitten im Zentrum liegt, das auch sehr viele Vorteile mit sich bringt, war es später abends sehr laut wenn alle nach hause gingen. Ab 0:00 Uhr war es dann sehr ruhig.

Das Zimmer ist einmalig und mitten in der Altstadt von Bari gelegen. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten von Bari sind von diesem Zimmer aus einfach und in kurzer Zeit zu erreichen. Das dreitägige Fest für San Nicola war wunderschön!

The host was always available through WhatsApp. Nicely remodeled. Great location. Host helped me change my reservation booking to a single from double person reservation saving me money. I was able to leave my bags in the room before check in.
There were no windows and a persistent sewer smell from the bathroom. I was told on WhatsApp that the "the taxi was paid" included with the room, not true, just be aware that only making the reservation is included. The bidet leaked when used and the front door lock was difficult to use.
