Pandora's Hilltop House Resort

The hotel’s staff were all extremely kind and helpful, especially Yuki who was in contact before we even reached the hotel and helped to arrange airport transfer and also helped us plan our activities for each day of our stay including booking the tickets for us. Yuki also sat down with us when we arrived and explained each activity and provided guided maps which helped a lot! The service from Yuki was the best I have ever experienced, always contactable and would check in to make sure everything was going well! The hotels laundry facilities were also very helpful and the restaurant was great too with lots of lovely food. And to top it off the hotel is located amazingly just a short walk from the national park.

I liked everything about the hotel.

First thing - Yuki was incredible. I was put in contact with her by booking.com to liaise with her via WeChat to help organise the trip and she made the entire experience effortless and so enjoyable. I gave her a rough itinerary of what we’d like to see and do whilst at Zhangjiajie and she organised it all. Admittedly when we checked in and she started to go through it day by day with the maps it was overwhelmed but the parks are very easily navigable and Yuki made sure each day we knew what the plan was and was always available. The hotel is so well situated. 10 minutes walk from one of the entrances, the pool has stunning views of the mountains and we had the bath suit overlooking the mountains (make sure you book it.) really nice toiletries (Balmain) and the room was so huge. Had nice beanbags and Yuki arranged for us to have afternoon on arrival in the room which was sublime. Even on the torrential rainy day with fog, it was nice chilling in the hotel. The restaurant on site is reasonably priced and had lots of local Tujia dishes to try. Breakfast was a good spread. This is one of those “Instagram recommendations “ that was definitely worth the money and the effort and using the hotel to get the best out of your time in Zhangjiajie was incredibly useful!

Couldn’t fault it

Very convenient location right next to the gate to the park, only few minutes drive or you can walk there as well.

Nothing- all is great

I couldn’t recommend this place more!! We had a fabulous time, the facilities were exceptional, the food was great! It felt very luxurious. The staff were so helpful, especially Will who helped us plan our itinerary. We loved our stay and will definitely be back! ☺️☺️
