Location and very comfortable

Parking a vehicle was a bit of a problem but we sorted it

Die Lage war sehr gut, man kann von dort aus super nach Liverpool, Manchester, Wales. Gleich um die Ecke ist ein Bahnhof um nach Liverpool zu kommen.

Location was good, right next to train station and play park outside the door

When we arrived we found the kitchen had not been cleaned properly and the house was in need of a general clean up. Hosts have not been very good at communicating. There was wet clothes left in washing machine, assume from previous guests. The microwave had not been cleaned along with the oven. There was snots wiped on the walls next to the bed. The walls up the stairs were dirty and could do with repainting. There was no drawers or wardrobe to store anything. A used nappy was found under the sofa. The fridge had not been emptied or cleaned from previous guests. I emailed and text the hosts and did not get a reply until late that evening, they said they would speak to cleaners and find out what happened. I did not hear anything back until the day we were leaving. We had planned to do food shopping and eat in each night but this ended up not being possible because of the state of the oven, which we notified the host of and therefore cost us money in takeaways/eating out. We were told we would be given a partial refund, this amount was never disclosed, however we arrived home 24th Aug and still have no received anything. I was told 14 days to process and now they are ignoring my emails. The property has potential to be great but unfortunately this was not our experience and would advise against clinton properties.
