Sand and Sunset

1. The location, just a short walk from the beach. 2. The staff is pretty attentive, a special thank you to the lovely receptionist Jocephine, who was always there for me and helped me through the couple of days that I was sick. 3. Very comfortable beds. 4. They have a generator, which literally saved the day many times, because the power goes out very often on the island.

The noise. The staff really need to get the sense of what is noisy and what isn't. They play loud music in the restorant above the rooms from 7am, and I really disliked being woken up that early while on vacation. Also they stand in front of the lower level rooms late at night or early in the morning and talk, have phone calls, shout to each other... This is perhaps the only thing, but a major one, they should work on.

Caiu energia algumas vezes mas é algo da ilha, pois em outra estadia no lado sul tb caía direto.

Staff at the hotel was exceptional!! They not only remembered us , but asked about our specific experiences that day ( I went scuba diving and both times staff asked me about my experience). Rooms were comfortable with cold air conditioning , a fan and hot water. Breakfast was great with fruit, breads pancakes, various hot offerings and made to order eggs. Again staff remembered our orders from previous days My first day of diving I was scheduled to leave 30 minutes before breakfast started, and they fixed a box of eggs with toast for me to take, and had fruit and coffee/tea available. Short walk to the beach Overall this ended up being the best choice of hotels!!

Far from the beach actually. It's not really a beach front ,you have to walk for close to 14 minutes to get to the beach and the walking area seems a lot darker in the evening. Do not recommend for females walking alone due to masais stopping you on the roads. They have amazing staff though.
