It was a fun little place. Very private. Didn’t get to use the deck because of weather but it looked sweet.

Hoewel de gipsyhut van buiten klein lijkt, is het van binnen ruim en heel gezellig en super praktisch ingericht. Alles is er. Bed is comfortabel. Alles is netjes en goed onderhouden. De plek is vlak bij het centrum en station, en grenst aan rustig parkje. Erg leuke accomodatie!

I had a wonderful stay at the Mitford Gypsy Hut in the charming town of Moreton-in-Marsh, located in the heart of the Cotswolds. Location The location couldn’t be better—it’s just a 5-minute walk from the train station, which made getting there a breeze. From Moreton-in-Marsh, exploring other picturesque Cotswold destinations like Bourton-on-the-Water and Stratford-upon-Avon is easy. For those venturing further afield, Oxford is also within reach. Hospitality Sam, the hosts was warm and attentive, and always ready to accommodate our requests. Facilities The hut is equipped with everything you need for a cozy and comfortable stay. The appliances and utensils are just right, allowing for meals to be easily prepared when dining in. Despite its compact size, the space is well-organized and functional, striking the perfect balance between practicality and charm. Value for Money Given its excellent location, thoughtful amenities, and the quality of the stay, Mitford Gypsy Hut offers fantastic value for money. It’s a unique and memorable experience at an affordable price point. Overall, I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a unique and relaxing stay.

The location was ok only a 5 minute walk from the village. We made our own breakfast.The bed was very comfortable but it was quite high off the floor which made climbing in and out difficult for elderly people. The lady in charge, Sam, was very kind and helpful. The shower was good but I didn't like the corrugated iron walls and the was no soap dish within the shower. The towels supplied were very nice.

Usually no parking on site. The 2 chairs in the cabin were very very uncomfortable. The microwave and oven were stored under the bed in a drawer and had to be lifted out for use, again not suitable for people with bad backs as they were quite heavy. There was no storage in the cabin, we had to live out of our suitcase. For what we paid, £78.00 per night, we expected better.
