Alena Boutique Hotel

Wir waren eine Woche im Alena Hotel. Man hat uns sehr freundlich, als Gäste, begrüßt und empfangen. Jeder Mitarbeiter, wirklich jeder war sehr höflich und freundlich und jeder Wunsch wurde uns erfüllt. Wir hatten sehr schöne, große Zimmer. Auf der Dachterrasse befindet sich ein Pool. Von dort aus kann man auf das Rote Meer sehen. Die Dachterrasse wurde abends unser Wohnzimmer. Dort verbrachten wir viele Stunden mit Getränken und Shisha. Dort wurden auch zwei schöne Geburtstagsparty für meinen Bruder und mich organisiert. Schon nach kurzer Zeit waren wir nicht mehr einfach nur Hotelgäste, sondern Familie. Der Hotelmanager Hamza und sein komplettes Team machten unseren Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis. Wir sind sehr dankbar für diese schöne Zeit im Alena Hotel. Wir kamen als Gäste und gingen als Familie. Was wir auch noch als sehr positiv empfunden haben, war der kostenlose Shuttlebus zum Berenice Beachclub. Wir kauften die Eintrittskarten für 13 JOD/ pro Person an der Rezeption und wurden direkt am Hotel abgeholt, fuhren bis zum Clubeingang und von dort wieder zum Hotel zurück. Es waren verschiedene Abfahrtzeiten auswählbar. Wir können das Alena Boutique Hotel vorbehaltlos empfehlen und kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder zu unserer jordanischen Hotelfamilie zurück. The staff is very polite and helpful whenever you request anything. They try their best to satisfy your request with the available resources.

The facility by itself does not qualify to be rated 4 stars. It's fairly 2 stars or at most 3 based on my previous experiences. Following are some points backing my statement: 1- The bedsheets were most probably not replaced before we check in. There was hair on it. 2- The room is so tiny. 3- The bathroom and shower design is a catastrophe. The bathroom becomes all wet no matter how you try to avoid getting water outside the shower zone. 4- Towels supply is extremely scarce. For two persons, we were barely having a small towel for the feets and two mid-sized ones for shower. Forget about a hand towel and just use one of those you used for your body. To be fair, the staff were willing to provide towels but seems there are no enogh quantity. We once asked to replace the dirty ones and had to wait a couple of hours because there was no clean ones available. Note that you have to sacrifice one towel getting drenched to remove the water from the ground. 5- Girls bring your hair conditioner with you. 6- The air conditioner was noisy and the power socket on my side of the bed was not working. 7- The breakfast is not on the rooftop as advertised. You reach the entrance of the nearby Ailana Hotel from the basement of Alena for the breakfast 8- Although satisfactory, the breakfast items are expected to be better for a 4 stars hotel. Processed cheese only (except feta which is a low quality kind) and meat-based items are almost absent. Only twice during our stay there was a sausage based dish. The rest is cooked tomatos, mashed potatoes, eggplant, etc. 9- The stairs look like the hotel is still under construction. The glass façade seems never been cleaned. 10- The pool on the rooftop is tiny. Suitable for a couple of adults and a few kids.
