Hotel Boutique Casona del Cafetal and Lakeside Restaurant

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at El Cafetal in Cachí! If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway in Costa Rica, this is the perfect place. The rooms are incredibly spacious, exceptionally comfortable, and spotlessly clean, providing the perfect space to unwind. The hotel grounds are surrounded by lovely, beautifully maintained gardens that create a wonderfully quiet and serene atmosphere. One of the biggest highlights for us was the wildlife. The property is filled with an incredible variety of birds! We highly recommend taking a birdwatching tour during your stay—it is absolutely worth it and an unforgettable experience. To top it all off, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their warm hospitality and great service truly made our trip special.

Mosquitoes, but this is a problem in all of Costa Rica...

We arrived after dark and in the rain. The gentleman working gave us the keys and helped us find our room. Very comfortable. In the morning I was surprised how pretty the grounds were,how good the breakfast was and how nice the staff was. Views were beautiful!

We loved the room, the location, the staff and the nature around us. They had a beautiful coffee plantations and some trails for light walks

Alles hat wunderbar geklappt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Auch das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Schade waren wir die einzigen Gäste in der ganzen Anlage. Aber trotzdem wurden wir sehr zuvorkommend betreut.
