We had a wonderful stay at Kochan Konagi and were very impressed with this quaint and well maintained establishment, the caring manager and staff and delicious and generous breakfast. The owner/manager Mahmut, and other staff members Firuze and Yakup were very friendly and responsive to our needs. They made sure we were very comfortable. We were very pleased with its location high up on the Mardin hill right under the Mardin castle. When we sat at the cafe or the hotel’s terraces , we could see many of the Old Martin landmarks, all the way to the plains as well as the Mardin castle especially when it was lit at night. Our room, sheets, towels were all very clean and the bathroom was quite large. The breakfast had a large variety consisting of omelet, gözleme, French fries, variety of cheeses, olives, three different jams, tomatoes and fresh bread as well as tea. We really enjoyed our vacation and would definitely stay here again.
