The accommodation was clean and well presented. The amenities are what you would expect for hotel accommodation. If you don't mind a joint bathroom facility then Queensland Hotel is a great alternative to motel accommodation.
I would have been happier if there was private, off-road parking but it was all okay in the end.

A nice new modern room, new fittings and fixtures and air conditioned. A walk across the road to the pub where the meals were generous and delicious and the drinks were cold. Plenty of parking in front of the room. Bed was comfortable and slightly longer than normal (good for the 6 foot brigade!)
One person in the room was OK, with two in the room it was very tight for space so we ended up on the verandah to talk. Not sure if the bed would have been that comfortable to share as it was long but narrow.

A great location in town. Walking distance to everything you might need and also the bonus of staying by the pub for dinner and drinks. Would highly recommend to stay!

Beautifully renovated, modern and really inviting. Great size menu and Pork Bao buns were delicious.
Bed was extremely uncomfortable, room surroundings were loud. For the price a TV in the room would have been good. One of our meals (Barramundi) was $32 and small for the price.
