Koh Kood Garden House

We had a very pleasant stay at Garden House. The staff were absolutely amazing — incredibly kind, welcoming, helpful and always happy to assist. This was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The property is beautifully surrounded by nature and has a very peaceful atmosphere. Our bungalow was small, but very nicely arranged and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was also excellent, with a very wide variety of choices, which was great for having something different each morning.

There were a few points that could be improved. As we stayed at the beginning of the season, there were renovation works taking place, which caused quite a bit of noise in the mornings. This was probably not something that could have been anticipated when booking, but it was occasionally a little disruptive. The Wi-Fi was also very weak, or even unavailable, inside the bungalow, and only slightly better on the terrace. The restaurant prices seemed quite high to us, and, unless we misunderstood, there did not seem to be any special discount for hotel guests. We also felt that there could have been slightly better communication regarding the breakfast options. On our first morning, we were told that only instant coffee was available, which was absolutely fine for us. However, a few days later, we happened to hear another guest ordering a cappuccino, so we discovered that this was actually an option. It would have been nice to know about the different choices available from the beginning. For even greater comfort, we would also recommend adding a kettle in the bungalows and blackout curtains. Overall, we had a very good experience and a lovely stay. The beautiful natural surroundings, charming accommodation, great breakfast and especially the wonderful staff made Garden House a place we would happily recommend.

A lovely calm, clean and relaxing getaway. Really liked the food in the restaurant. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Beds were quite comfortable and air conditioning was great

The shower room had a weird smell but still worked perfectly

Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, alle Mittarbeiter sind so aufmerksam. Ich war keine 2 min aus dem Bungalow raus und schon war das Houseceping sofort da und hat mein Bungalow hergerichtet. Der Service beim einchecken war mega, auch in der Bar und im Restaurant. Ich würde sagen gehobener deutscher Standart. Preis zu Leistung mehr als 100%. Das Essen ( deutsche, amerikanisch (burger) oder thai) ist erste Sahne!!! Von mir bekommt Ihr 10 on 10 Sternen.

das ich nicht dauerhaft dort sein kann, und das das Bier manchmal knapp wurde ;-P ...aber da war ich Schuld dran :-DDD

Staff very friendly and helpful , helped us book the ferry and gave us access to a scooter , also food very good and , lovely staff

Air con was terrible so was like sleeping in a sauna , mosquito bites all night they got under the door , and terrible smell in the bathroom from the draines
